Adria Winch has a tradition of over 20 years in designing and manufacturing winches in equipping yachts, work boats and special purpose vessels. Over time, we have developed 3 groups of products:

With this program we can satisfy our customers’ special needs. As a rule, these are individually developed products. The products are designed and developed according to special technical requirements, in cooperation with ship owners and designers of their vessels.

These winches and accompanying equipment are installed on large yachts and special purpose vessels – both in civil shipbuilding and in construction of special services and naval forces vessels.

General – Construction Execution and Other Characteristics

All the winches are the outcome of own development and of twenty years of experience and improvement at Adria Winch. The entire program is realized according to regulations of marine classification societies.

The approval of documentation, certification of materials and components, supervision of manufacture and handover tests are realized, as necessary, under the supervision of a classification society, and the winches are delivered with individual certificates of the classification society.

The winches are approved by the Croatian Register of Shipping, Loyd’s Register, Det Norske Veritas, Beuareu Veritas, Russian Maritime Register and Russian River Register.

The winches are configured in the manner that they can manipulate one or two anchors, and realize warping with horizontal and vertical heads. Winches realization, number and position of chain sprockets and warping heads can always be suited to our clients’ needs.

Winch transmissions are especially designed in Adria Winch for the use on anchor-warping winches. All the transmissions are characterized by superior load capacity, optimal speed-haulage ratio, and reduced power losses. Transmission elements are manufactured in best steel and bronze, with enhanced mechanical properties with ground worms and precisely processed toothing.

The applied materials ensure firmness, reliability, long-term use and durability of the outer appearance. The anti-corrosive resistance is achieved, both with the proper design and protection of the assemblies, as well as choice of the best materials.
On buyer request all over-deck working parts are of stainless steel or anticorrosive alloys, polished and/or chromium plated or anodized.

The winch production is executed under certified quality assurance system according to ISO 9001/2000.

The concept, shaping and choice of materials ensure long-term use without failures, with a warranty period from 1 to 5 years.
The buyers are provided with permanent after sales support. Replacement components, as well as servicing in our factory are permanently available for all models, disregarding the warranty period duration or the year when the winch was manufactured.
