Anchor Mooring Winches

Whatever anchor winch we imagined, we can design and produce. Hydraulic or electric drive, up to 76mm chain, with or without drums and warping heads. Standard performance is with enclosed gear or optional with hardened gears for heavy duty execution. As an option we offer remote dropping of anchors, stainless steel performance and winches adapted for operation at temperatures as low as -40° C.

AW windlasses are designed for operation in the worst environmental conditions. They provide long-term operation without failures and very little maintenance requirements. The mechanism of the brake and the clutch are designed for safe and easy operation. All parts are available for inspection and lubrication. At the request winches can be delivered with a foundation or base. All external forces are transferred to the ship's structure over the foundation bolts.
