JV company “ZNT Winch” established
Adria Winch and ZNT group founded a joint venture company on 28.07.2011, based in Nizhny Novgorod, Russian Federation.
The goal of the newly founded company is making a breakthrough in the Russian market. The result will be a wider range of products in compliance with customer requirements. This company has emerged from the desire to satisfy the Russian customers.
This should be a win-win situation for all existing and future partners of both companies, because of the expected synergy effect for the new company in technical and commercial aspects.
“Kapitan Ruzmarkin” delivered in Okskaya Shipyard
On May 20 the first vessel out of 10 multipurpose bulk carriers under RSD-44 project for Volga Shipping Company was delivered at Okskaya shipyard (Navashino, Nizhegorodskaya region). The vessel was called "Captain Ruzmarkin".
Adria Winch is a supplier of anchor mooring equipment and equipment for hatch cover maneuvering. We are especially proud of the new innovative solution for hydraulic lifting/lowering, moving of hatch covers with the so-called "Piggy back" system. This efficient, inexpensive and very simple system serves to maintain the very reliable and user-friendly operation showed during testing.
Internalional Forum “Marine Industry of Russia -2011”
Adria Winch Company has traditionally been present at the MIR forum with a very strong delegation. Keeping numerous contacts with old business partners is one of the reasons why AW doesn’t miss this show. Also, a large number of new contacts and companies have joined us as potential customers.
Information about new projects, thoughts and decisions of Russian business and shipyard representatives enabled us to evaluate the MIR forum as altogether successful, and the Adria Winch presentation too.
New contract with Kleven Verft AS
Adria Winch has signed a contract to equip NB 354, Project VS 499 for owner REM Offshore company. This extension of cooperation confirms our good partner relationship and quality of AW products. Recent contracted projects are NB 345 for the same owner and NB 346 for Eidsvik company.
Package consists of two bow Anchor Mooring winch caliber φ50 mm K3, two mooring winches, two tugger winches and eight cargo securing winches. Adria Winch also supplies the hydraulic power unit, complete electric package and chain stoppers.
AW expressed condolences to the Norwegian partners
Shocked by the senseless terrorist act in Oslo AW sent sincere condolences to all of its Norwegian business partners.
Adria Winch signed contract with Shipyard MNP “Krasnoe Sormovo” and Shipyard “JSC Okskaya Sudoverf” for project RST 27
Shipyard MNP Krasnoe Sormovo from Nizhny Novgorod ordered for 6 vessels + 10 in options. This is an extension of a long time cooperation between two friendly companies. Delivers are through year 2011 and 2012.
Shipyard “JSC Okskaya Sudoverf” from Navashino ordered 15 vessels. A new order after project RSD44 where AW is the supplier of anchor mooring equipment and hydraulic system for hatch cover operation is confirmation of good job.
Each package consists of two bow Electrical Anchor Mooring windlass caliber φ36mm K3 and one stern anchor mooring capstan caliber φ34 K3. Beside this Adria Winch supplies, hydraulic for remote anchor dropping radars and masts, complete electric package with bridge control panel and chain stoppers.
RSD 27 project will be fully manufactured and tested in our production facility in Split. All equipment will be provided with certificates of RMRS.

Adria Winch on Neva 2011
Adria Winch is a supplier of anchor-mooring equipment for 12 new buildings at the Nevsky and Lotos Shipyard in Russia.
Adria Winch signed contract with Nevsky Shipbulding - Shiprepair Shipyard for design and development of a package of anchor-mooring equipment for a series of 10 newbuildings on the project RSD 49. The same package is contracted with Lotos Shipyard for two newbuildings.
Each package consists of two bow Electrical Anchor Mooring windlass caliber φ42mm K2 and one stern anchor mooring winch caliber φ36 K2. Beside this Adria Winch supplies, complete electric package with bridge control panel, chain stoppers and chain end releasing devices.
RSD 49 project will be fully manufactured and tested in our production facility in Split. All equipment will be provided with certificates of RMRS.

Adria Winch equip two new Advance Seismic Vessels – Polarcus for Ulstein Verf
Polarcus is a modern 12 streamer 3D seismic vessel based on ULSTEIN SX124 design and classed by the DNV. First vessel was built at the Drydocks World Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. In November 2010 Adria Winch secured an order for Anchor mooring equipment for two additional vessels. Previously Adria Winch delivered the equipment for six vessels.
Efficient and reliable Anchor-mooring equipment is essential for the safe operation of the Vessels. Long experience in providing innovative solutions based on proven technology, together with close cooperation with the customer, made us successful in securing the order.
Each of the vessels consists of the following Adria Winch equipment:
- Hydraulic double anchor mooring winch calibre 50 K3, with chain
- Two hydraulic mooring capstans 100 kN
- Hydraulic power pack
The equipment will be fabricated at the Adria Winch factory in Split, Croatia and will be delivered during the 2011/2012 period.

Adria Winch has signed a contract for two wagon carrirea for Uljanik
For the first time Adria Winch contracted equipping of ships in a shipyard Uljanik, Pula. After many years of contacts within exchanges of experience and vessels whose dimensions were greater than the target Adria Winch’s products, the Wagon carrier project finally occured on which they are connecting close interests of both parties. Uljanik shipyard recognized the value of our product and decided to install Adria Winch`s equipment. These two new buildings are an ideal opportunity for shipyard to validate the quality of the Adria Winch`s equipment. We hope it is the beginning of a long and successful cooperation.
Seaonics signed the contract with Adria Winch for equipping two STX design PSV09 and a Streamer Seizmic research vessel ST 324 CD for the Kleven shipyard
The first contracts with Seaonics company for equipping two STX design PSV 09 ships and a Streamer seismic research, Project ST 324 for the Kleven Shipyard. We hope, this is the beginning of the fruitful cooperation between the two companies in the technical and commercial way.
PSV is Adria Winch’s repeated project. We have already delivered three sets of
equipment for the ODIM Company.
Seismic streamer is a new project with which we continue cooperation with the Kleven shipyard, after three contracts of deck equipment for Platforms supply ship through the Evotec Company.
